The missing pen mystery

I ordered 4 pens, one escaped somewhere, I don’t know why it would disappear as I’m offering a lovely working home environment! Anyway, informed Gavin about the escapee, he pulled out all the stops and not only found said pen, but found a little friend to keep it company. Sent together in a package that seems more like getting a present.
