The new Tokyo stationery range from Nolki

Celebrate Tokyo in 2021

Many events that should have taken place in 2020 were cancelled, from the personal and the small to the grandest of international affairs - the Olympics. Will they take place as planned in 2021? I wouldn't put money on it, but there are still reasons to celebrate Tokyo this year, not least of which is the striking new stationery range from London-based design team, Nolki.

Fresh off the press, the new Tokyo collection includes a perfect-bound A5 lined notebook, set of three co-ordinating A6 notebooks and a matching washi tape. All these new releases sport the bold colours that we've come to know and love from the Nolki deskpads and the striking designs bring a splash of modern art to any desk. The bright colours, geometric shapes and stripes channel Shibuya crossing into a swoon-worthy range that I couldn't wait to get my hands on.

Textured treasures

The A6 notebooks are particularly stunning. Their pocket-sized format is made all the more appealing by textured cover stock and uncoated lined pages - always the nicest smelling paper! They would make a super option for day-to-day note taking or jotting ideas on the go.

If you prefer something a little meatier, the A5 notebook does not disappoint, and, like all Nolki's paper products, has the Blue Angel environmental seal for sustainable paper and eco-friendly production. The ruled pages are wider than I personally prefer though - give me a narrow rule to cram with text and I'm a happy chap.

Caught on tape

Many will make a beeline straight for the collection's stunning washi tape, which brings the modern colours and geometric styling of the Tokyo notebooks in a repositional tape. 15mm wide and with 10m to a roll, this versatile tape would make a striking embellishment to any surface and is ideal for use as frames in home decor or in your bullet journal.

All the products in the Tokyo range are available now at Pen Pusher, and we're excited to see what other designer stationery delights Nolki comes up with in 2021.
